SensorHubb 2.7.1
Release Notes

RELEASE OVERVIEW

This release introduces predictive maintenance capabilities, five new sensor types, unified equipment and gateway management, smarter alerting, and a refreshed user experience across the platform.

Major Features

New Sensor Support

SensorHubb 2.7.1 expands monitoring coverage with five new sensor categories. Each integrates fully with dashboards, threshold alerts, rollup charts, and predictive health analytics where applicable.

  • Indoor Air Quality and Motion Monitoring — CO2, TVOC, HCHO, PM2.5, PM10, temperature, humidity, and motion detection. Built for hospitals, labs, and commercial kitchens where air quality compliance matters.

  • Differential Pressure Monitoring — Calibration support, threshold alerts, and rollup charts for environments requiring pressure differential tracking such as cleanrooms and isolation rooms.

  • Water Leak Detection — Immediate alerting on water presence for mechanical rooms, server rooms, and any space where undetected leaks cause costly damage.

  • Power Monitoring — Current transformer support with power health analytics, current drift detection, load pattern analysis, and thermal anomaly alerts. Replaces periodic manual thermal imaging with continuous automated monitoring.

  • Vibration Analytics — Anomaly detection, bearing analysis, and equipment health zone evaluation for compressors, motors, and rotating equipment. Integrates directly with the new predictive maintenance engine.

Asset Health — Predictive Maintenance

SensorHubb now includes a built-in predictive maintenance system that learns how your equipment normally operates and alerts you to early signs of trouble — before a traditional threshold alarm ever fires.

  • Equipment Health Dashboard — A single view showing risk scores across your entire sensor fleet, color-coded from Healthy to Critical on a 0–100 scale. Filter by equipment type, health status, or risk tier to focus on what needs attention first.

  • Temperature Health — Tracks recovery time degradation, short cycling, amplitude changes, and sustained drift. If your walk-in cooler takes longer to recover after a door open, SensorHubb catches that trend early — often weeks before a compressor failure.

  • Vibration Health — Monitors bearing condition through a five-stage progression: Healthy, Early Fault, Progressive, Advanced, and Critical. Provides estimated days-to-warning and days-to-alarm so you can plan maintenance on your schedule, not react to emergencies.

  • Power Health — Watches for connection resistance changes using thermal analysis. A rising temperature-to-current ratio indicates a deteriorating connection — the same condition an annual thermal imaging survey looks for, but monitored continuously. Also tracks current drift, load pattern changes, and circuit overrange events.

  • Baseline Learning — Each sensor automatically establishes its own operating baseline by collecting data during normal operation. Once established, the system monitors for deviations and trends. If equipment changes or gets serviced, reset the baseline with one click. Existing sensors begin building baselines automatically upon upgrade — no configuration required.

  • Health Alerts — Predictive alerts appear alongside your existing event alerts, providing an early warning layer. Resolve alerts and provide feedback on prediction accuracy to help the system improve over time.

Equipment & Gateway Management

  • Equipment Tab — A new unified Equipment view for browsing sensors by type, status, and health at a glance. Includes gateway information, dormant sensor identification, and streamlined navigation to help pinpoint issues or explore your sensor fleet without digging through multiple pages.

  • Gateway Overview — Dedicated gateway summary with status indicators, firmware details, and connectivity health to quickly assess your network infrastructure.

Monitoring & Alerts

  • Grouped Event Filters — Events can now be filtered by category (Humidity, Temperature, Vibration, Water, Power/Current) for faster drill-down to what matters.

  • Event Resolution Notifications — Optionally receive notifications when events resolve, not just when they trigger.

User Experience

  • News Feed View — A new optional view alongside the existing Card and Table views. The feed provides a scrollable, timeline-style layout with rich sensor readings and clickable navigation for quick situational awareness.

  • Visual Refresh — Updated styling across list, detail, and form pages with more prominent live readings and cleaner layouts.

Migration and Compatibility

Fully backward compatible — no breaking changes. Sensor configurations, user accounts, historical data, and custom settings all remain intact. Existing sensors automatically begin building predictive baselines upon upgrade with no action required.

A mobile app update will be pushed alongside the release. Please update to ensure the best experience.
