Connect Claude to
SensorHubb
User Guide for Claude Desktop and Claude.ai

What This Does: Connect Claude AI to your SensorHubb sensor data so you can ask questions, analyze trends, detect anomalies, and get insights about your temperature monitoring system using natural language

Prerequisites
-
SensorHubb Account: Your administrator must create a user account with your email address and enable OAuth for your account
-
Google Account: Your SensorHubb email must be linked to a Google account (Gmail or Google Workspace)
-
Claude Access: Either Claude Desktop app OR access to claude.ai Important: You do NOT need to log into the SensorHubb web application first.
Authentication happens automatically through Google when you connect Claude.

How Authentication Works
When you connect Claude to SensorHubb:

1. Claude redirects you to Google's secure login page
2. You sign in with your Google account (same email as your SensorHubb account) 3. Google returns an authentication token to Claude
4. Claude sends the token to SensorHubb to verify your identity
5. SensorHubb verifies your email and grants Claude access to your sensor data

All data access is scoped to your user account - you only see sensors and locations you have permission to access in SensorHubb.

Troubleshooting
"User not found" or "OAuth not enabled"
Problem: After authenticating with Google, you see an error about your user not being found or OAuth not being enabled.
Solution:
-
Verify your Google email EXACTLY matches your SensorHubb user email (case-sensitive)
-
Contact your SensorHubb administrator to confirm:
-
Your user account exists in SensorHubb
-
OAuth is enabled for your account
-
Your account status is set to "ENABLED"

Check your internet connection
-
Try removing the connector and adding it again
-
Contact SensorHubb support to verify the server is running
